Here are the step by step instructions for connecting a Rane SL 3 to a regular two channel DJ mixer. Click on the images to enlarge.

Step one:

Connect the RCA cables of the left turntable (or CD player) to the left deck inputon the SL 3.Step two:

Step two:

Connect the RCA cables of the right turntable (or CD player) to the right deck input on the SL 3.

Step three:

Connect the turntable ground wires to the SL 3 grounding posts.

Step four:

Set the dip switches to the correct level - up for phono (turntables), and down for line (CD players).

Step five:

Plug the SL 3 left deck output into the left line input on the mixer.

Step six:

Plug the SL 3 right deck output into the right line input on the mixer.

Step seven:

To output the sample player, plug the SL 3 aux output into the aux input on the mixer.

Step eight:

Plug in the SL 3 power supply.

Step nine:

Connect the USB cable.

Step ten:

Connect the mixer to a set of speakers or a mixing desk.

That's it - your all ready to go!
